Review of Barnes, Portfolio [Isis 2011]

A review by Wesley M. Stevens of Carl Barnes’ book on Villard’s Portfolio appeared in the September 2011 issue of Isis, the journal of the History of Science Society.  Stevens praises the book, calling it, “a very thorough and systematic analysis of a book….
